Landscape design at Urbatect involves the design of landscapes at a variety of scales—from large, multi-functional sites to small, intimate spaces. Innovative research into materials, lifestyles and landscape technologies coupled with a deep understanding of how people use outdoor spaces informs our unique design process.
Our landscape designers blend imaginative design gestures with natural systems to establish a sense of place. Our primary goal is to exceed our client’s expectations by creating a sense of space, bringing together the exterior with the buildings and to create a unique experience for all end-users.
URBAN PLANNING DESIGN
Urbatect’s Urban Planning & Design division provides clients with comprehensive designs that are creative, functional, efficient and sustainably balanced with the environment. We integrate a deep understanding of social interactions and commercial needs into planning and design strategies that produce maximum value for clients in both the public and private sectors.
We follow a place-based, integrated approach to inform our master plans and urban design strategies. This ensures that our solutions are economically viable while being socially and environmentally responsive.
Urbatect’s work on a broad range of projects, from new urban districts and developments to suburban and exurban campuses, centers and communities. Sustainability is an important focus — with equal concern for the socio-economic health of the community and for its environmental quality.
